Edward Iordănescu (46) has signed with Legia Warsawteam with 15 titles in Poland! The announcement was made through an official statement on the club's website that only ranked 5th this season.
The former Romanian coach will be officially presented on Monday, at 11:00, at a press conference.

Choosing the right coach for Legia Warsaw is a difficult task.
The last few weeks have been very intense for sports director Michal Zewlakow. After a selection process and numerous meetings with potential candidates, the choice stopped on the 46 -year -old Romanian coach, Edward Iordănescu.
In the past, coach Iordănescu worked, among others, on the national team of Romania, CFR Cluj and FCSB. The presentation of the new coach will take place at a press conference on Monday, at 11:00. The team will start preparations for season 2025/26 according to plan

Edward Iordănescu was convinced with the sum of 480,000 euros per year by the band that ended this 5th place in the Poland Championship.
Edward Iordănescu was free of contract for one year. He remained without a team in July 2024 after his contract with FRF expired. In his last experience in coaching, Edward Iordănescu prepared the national of Romania that he qualified until the finals of Euro 2024.
Edward Iordănescu arrived on the technical bench of a team that will play in the Europa League preliminaries. The Poles from Legia Warsaw won the Poland Cup.
Edward Iordănescu has prepared FC Vaslui, so tg. Mureș, Pandurii Tg. Jiu, Țska Sofia, Astra, CFR Cluj, Gaz Metan and FCSB. He has a Romanian supercapa and a champion title, both with CFR Cluj. His only experience abroad is at CSKA Sofia, which he only prepared a few months in August – November 2016.
