The CBAM has left a little less than a year before the full launch of the European CBAM duty. And if he does not get a deferral, it will lose $ 4.7 billion in exports and $ 2.7 billion in the next couple of years.
Also, according to analytical centers, we can lose 6.4% of GDP by 2030, and more than 116 thousand jobs.
The Ukrainian authorities have already started negotiations on delaying this duty for Ukraine, but there are no results yet. Therefore, business and experts urge the government to speed up negotiations – because our country is definitely entitled to defer under EU law.
