A drunken car carrier was detained after a chase with shooting near Krasnoyarsk (video)

In Zheleznogorsk, Krasnoyarsk Territory, police used a service weapon to stop the drunk driver of a foreign car.

The case occurred at the end of last week. Today, the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs told the details: during duty, the traffic inspectors noticed the Chevrolet Lanos traveling at high speed and through the loud -speaking device they demanded that the driver stop, but he ignored them and increased speed even more.

“With the flashing lights and a special sound signal turned on, employees began to pursue the offender. Trying to hide, he made dangerous maneuvers, pose a threat to other road users. After warning shots into the air, traffic police inspectors opened fire on the wheels of a foreign car. As a result, it was stopped, and the driver was detained. When he was examined by intoxication, the readings amounted to 0.87 mg/l, ”the police said.

It turned out that a man stole a car from a friend. On this fact, a criminal case was opened under Part 1 of Art. 166 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation “Unlawful seizure of a car without the purpose of theft.” Also in relation to the man, they amounted to 7 administrative protocols, including forEnchanting and without rights, exit to the oncoming lane, travel to a prohibiting traffic light and other traffic violations.

The car was seized and placed on a special parking lot, and the attacker was arrested for 48 hours. The decision on further punishment will be made by the court.
