ZUS begins the payment of the 800 plus benefit from the new billing period, which began on June 1, 2025. “In total, this week we will pay benefits of PLN 1 billion PLN 379 million for over 1.7 million children. So far, we have adopted over 4.1 million applications for nearly 6.5 million children. The new billing period in the 800 plus program began on June 1 this year and will last until May 31, 2026. Parents and guardians who want to receive a benefit should submit an application.
People who submitted applications for a new benefit period by the end of April will receive money for the first month without breaks in payments, i.e. in June (unless it is necessary to conduct explanatory proceedings). However, if someone submitted a application in May, they will receive money for June until the end of July with the payment of benefits for this month.

As ZUS reminds, An educational benefit in the amount of PLN 800 is granted to the child until they are 18 years old, regardless of the income achieved by the family. The only requirement to receive an add -on from the 800 plus program from ZUS is that the child must study in Polish educational institutions and live in Poland.
