“Wind energy for strong Poland” is the title of the appeal that the wind industry has donated to the hands of politicians during the first day of the annual conference organized by the Polish Wind Energy Association in Świnoujście. The appeal indicates three urgent activities for safe and independent Poland and the development of wind energy.

The first action is to simplify investment procedures. According to the wind industry, the current system of obtaining administrative decisions is too complicated and time consuming, and thus expensive. As we read in the appeal “Years of waiting for administrative permits must go to the past. Time to end with bureaucracy, which blocks the development of strategic investments. Time to simplify the regulations, including by integrating the investment path, digitization of processes and better institutional coordination.”

The second action is the support of industry and recipients. In the appeal to politicians we read that “green energy is energy security and the foundation of competitiveness. To become independent of external supplies, but we must build competences and a strong local Net-Zero industry in Poland, which will provide us with independence. Therefore, it is necessary to continue working on the Polish industry strategy for wind energy, which will be to integrate the activities of all state and business bodies to use the opportunity to use the opportunity to use the opportunity, before which we face. “

The third task is to ensure the safety and predictability of the “Wind Energy, especially sea energy, requires many years of planning and huge capital outlays” – we read in the PSEW document. “The predictability of the law and the stable regulatory environment are the conditions necessary for maintaining investors' trust and certainty in the supply chain. Such actions will stop capital in Poland and allow you to develop projects on the scale we need. It should also be supported by long -term, ambitious goals for the energy sector – it was written in the appeal” Wind energy for strong Poland “.

During the inauguration of the conference, Janusz Gajowiecki, the president of PSW, pointed out that Poland is entering a new political reality, which will be crucial for our security, independence and competitiveness of the economy for the next few years. In his opinion, the new political environment also means new challenges for energy transformation.

– Presidential elections are behind us, and this means a return to everyday work – also the legislative one, on which the rate of energy transformation in Poland depends. Perhaps the coming time will be more demanding for the industry, but this only emphasizes the importance of our commitment and unity. We must support those who want to modernize Polish energy, but also skillfully convince those who still see more threats than opportunities. Poland's energy and economic security cannot leave the list of priorities – this is the common responsibility of the sector, administration and citizens. We have ambitious goals, ready solutions and energy for action. Now we need the presence of the entire industry – to speak in one, strong voice about the future of Polish energy – said Gajowiecki. The Miłosz Motyk, deputy minister of climate and environment present at the conference, indicated that a supra -political strategy for energy transformation was needed.

During the 20th edition of the conference gathering several thousand people from the renewable energy sources industry, the topics of land wind energy are intertwined with sea energy. In a session devoted to the financing of the maritime wind energy energy, Joanna Smolik, director of the Strategic Relationship Department at Bank Gospodarstwa Krajowego, announced that a significant part of the funds from the national reconstruction plan intended for the development of offshore Wind has already been distributed.

Monika Karolak, managing director of Pekao Investment Banking, Bank Pekao SA said during the session that the designs of marine wind farms financed in the Project Finance formula can be implemented in a classic or sustainable formula.

Bartosz Fedurek, president of PGE Baltica, pointed out the need to change the law of public procurement, because in his opinion the current regulations on the one hand extend the investment process, and and on the other they do not secure the security of investment processes in the right way.

Joanna Sasak, a member of the management board of financial affairs, Orlen Neptun drew attention to foreign partners with whom offshore projects are implemented. In her opinion, Northland Power experience allows you to better plan the investment process. Konrad Gołota, Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of State Asset, assured that despite the tense budget situation and huge funds allocated by the government for defense (4.7 percent of GDP this year – editor's note) there will be funds for energy transformation.
