The Parliament Palace will be illuminated in the turquoise, Monday to mark World Day of Awareness of Batten's disease, Agerpres announces. Batten's disease (or Niel-Batten disease) is a genetic disorder that affects the nervous system.

The Permanent Bureau of the Chamber of Deputies made this decision at the request of the Health Commission, following the application, as in previous years, by the Rebeca Faith Hope Love Association.

The operation to reconfigure the festive (architectural) lighting of the Parliament Palace building will be carried out by the personnel of the Center for Technological Development.
