“Patriot systems, which we once received from the United States, are now in Ukraine. These are Israeli systems that were equipped with Israel in the early 1990s. We agreed to pass them on to Ukraine. Unfortunately, it was not said too much about it,” said the diplomat in an interview for blogger Mariczka Dowbienko, published on June 8.
The fact that Israel, the USA and Ukraine are negotiating on the supply of Patriot systems for the Ukrainian army, in June 2024 informed the newspaper “Financial Times”, citing sources. According to the publication, Israel was ready to transfer Ukraine to eight anti -aircraft defense complexes.
