Another Ziłeski-Trump meeting? Chancellery of the President of Ukraine: Preparations are underway

The US still support Ukraine; Preparations are underway for the meeting of presidents of both countries, Donald Trump and Wołodymyr Zelanski, which is to take place during the G7 summit in Canada – said Andrij Jermak, head of the office of the head of the Ukrainian state on Sunday.

Jermak, who visited Washington in the past week, informed on Ukrainian television that support for his country was felt every day.

“The visit of the Ukrainian delegation was also an important stage of preparation for the meeting of the President of Ukraine and the President of the USA, which is to take place during the G7 summit in Canada,” he emphasized.

“We have discussed key issues: further military support, including anti -cancer defense, as well as economic cooperation. President Zielnski clearly presented our position: Ukraine is ready to buy weapons and equipment as part of joint programs, strengthening his defensive abilities in strategic cooperation with partners,” said Jermak.

He revealed that during talks in Washington, a sanction policy towards Russia was discussed.

“Ukraine is counting on the fact that the US Senate will support the law on exacerbating sanctions against Russia, including so -called secondary sanctions against countries and companies helping to bypass restrictions. This is a specific step towards reducing Russia's income from the sale of oil and other energy raw materials,” he said.

“We operate systemically – both on the battlefield and diplomacy. Together with our allies, we increase pressure on the aggressor and mobilize the entire free world to support Ukraine,” Jermak noted, quoted on his own social networks. (https://t.me/ermaka2022/6383 ()
