The Ramstein group appointed an initiative on the production of weapons

The partners of Ukraine agreed to establish the initiative of Ramstein Investment for Industries, which aims to finance and produce weapons – announced on Wednesday the Ukrainian defense minister Rust Rust after the meeting of the contact group for defending Ukraine in Ramstein format.

“We agreed that production produced abroad under the Ukrainian license will go to Ukraine as long as the war is underway. We are looking forward to considering all proposals from interested parties-partners. We have not yet approved the official name, but we temporarily call it Ramstein Investment for Industries, which is a strategic breakthrough,” said press after the meeting, which took place in Brussels.

The minister explained that As part of this initiative, Ukrainian companies will be able to invest in the partner countries of the Ramstein group, and companies from the Member States of the group will be able to build their production plants in Ukraine.

“We will jointly produce drones, rockets, ammunition and other types of weapons. Ukrainian drones have changed the image of the battlefield, and now they will change the way Ramstein countries are preparing for future threats,” said Umiow.

The minister expressed the hope that this project will be supported under the SAFE of the European Union, which is to provide up to EUR 150 billion for weapon production-wrote the Interfax-Ukraina agency.

“Our partners are ready to go forward. This is a beneficial situation for everyone. Ukrainian companies can invest in Europe, and European or Euro -Atlantic companies can build their plants in Ukraine. Ukrainian companies will of course gain access to financing, modern technologies, new production opportunities, as well as strategic partnerships with leading world players,” added. (PAP)
