At the site of an abandoned wasteland, by the end of August this year, a square will appear. Here, playgrounds for different ages, workout zones, dance and viewing platforms with view of the city will be equipped. Also, the contractor will equip the paths for pedestrians, cyclists and scooters, install street simulators, and a swing for adults.

“This place has long been in need of transformation. Last year, several addresses were proposed for improvement. 16 thousand residents of Krasnoyarsk chose this particular. We met with the townspeople and found out what they wanted to see in this place, ”said Dmitry Guryev, the head of the Leninsky district.

The work is in accordance with the schedule. Improvement is carried out in the framework of the program “Formation of a comfortable urban environment “of the national project” Infrastructure for life “.

Krasnoyarsk residents can choose spaces that will be built in 2026. Voting will be held until June 12. Of the 14 public spaces, only 7 objects will be selected, which will gain the largest number of votes.

From the Leninsky district, the square at 26 Baku commissars, 28a and the Yenisei embankment from the Oktyabrsky bridge to the house on the northern passage, participate in the vote. More than 24 thousand Krasnoyarsk residents have already voted for the latter. If this site is one of the winners, then the Council embankment will be continued.
