Travel in public transport of the Krasnoyarsk Territory will rise in price annually

Prices for travel in public transport of the Krasnoyarsk Territory were tied to inflation. Now they will automatically increase every year depending on its level, even if carriers did not ask for this. The corresponding order was placed by the Ministry of Tariff Policy of the region.

The changes will affect not only urban, but also suburban and intercity routes. The innovations will begin to operate on September 1, 2025. Tariffs will be set no later than December 1 for a period of 1 calendar year.

The new system provides for two methods for calculating the cost of travel. The first is used on the initiative of carriers. To do this, they must provide the authorized body with the calculation of the actual fuel costs, repair, salaries, and so on. Carriers will be able to apply for tariffs once a year. Such rules have acted before the new system. However, earlier to revise the system, the consent of at least 50 % of carriers was required. Now they can be less.

The second method involves annual indexation. The tariff will increase by the value of predicted inflation. This method is planned to be used in the absence of calls from carriers, or if less than 50 %turned.

Recall that the last time the fare prices rose on July 1, 2024. The fare in buses rose from 36 to 44 rubles, in trams and trolleybuses – from 32 to 40 rubles.
