The PSD cannot anticipate if other parliamentarians left from other parties will join the Social Democrats in the next period, Florin Manole spokesman said for Hotnews. The reaction comes after 4 parliamentarians elected on the lists of SOS Romania, the party led by Diana Şoșoaca, passed on Monday at the PSD.
Florin Manole argues that it is “very good” that some parliamentarians choose to “get rid” of “aggressive ideas and public discourse in the SOS parties, they can and gold.
“In the last few weeks, several parliamentarians from the SOS, can, gold, being dissatisfied with their parties, the aggressive ideas and public discourse promoted there. It is very good for people, including parliamentarians, to take away and to get rid of this,” Manole reacted to Hotnews.
“Now that they came to the PSD, or if they would choose other parties, these are personal decisions, we have not discussed them personally, but they are probably in our social themes,” said the spokesman of the PSD.
Asked if the PSD proposed to the four deputies to join them or the deputies went to the PSD, Manole said that “there were discussions in both directions.” He also stated that he cannot “anticipate” if other parliamentarians left other parties in the future will join the PSD.
On Monday, deputies Ecaterina Mariana Szoke, Cosmin Andrei, Alexandrin Moiseev and Iosif-Florin Jianu announced their affiliation at the PSD parliamentary group.
