LDPR deputy proposed a way to solve demographic problems

The deputy of the Krasnoyarsk City Council Semen Sendersky at a meeting with the federal colleague from the State Duma Sergey Leonov raised the issue of solving demographic problems.
According to statistics, about 45% of cases of infertility in Russia are associated precisely with male infertility. But for men, recognizing this problem is much more difficult than for women.
“It’s easier to persuade the refrigerator not to buzz at night than to force a man to admit that not everything works, and to direct to a spermogram,” said Semen Sendersky.
Sergei Leonov supported the idea of a colleague. He proposed to put the topic of male health in the basis of the LDPR program.
“Male infertility is much more easily treated than female. There are drugs that do this, but a man to give examination is just a disaster, ”said Sergey Leonov.
The parliamentarian is convinced that it is necessary to look for approaches. Of the 1.2 million newborns that appear annually, 30,000 children are abandoning abortion. This is a separate program that began to work relatively recently. 50,000 is eco or in extracorporeal fertilization.
“80 thousand out of a million two hundred is an impressive figure. And if we take more, we will treat our Russian men from infertility, then, I think, this figure can grow another 30-50 thousand newborn. And this is almost 10% of the total number of children who are born in the country, ”said Sergey Leonov.
Semen Sendersky noted that in Russia it is necessary to create programs for supporting male health, as well as a network of specialized centers where men will feel comfortable and confident. All this must be included in federal national projects.
