The President of Hungary will go to Praid, “part of the soul of the Szekler land”. Tamas Sulyok's message for locals affected by floods

The president of Hungary, Tamas Sulyok, will participate next week in the liturgy of Pentecost of Șumuleu Ciuc, and then will pay a visit to Praid to inspect the situation and to deliver help through the Ecumenical Aid Organization (Okumenikus Segelyszervezet Magyarorszag, OSM), MTI reported on Friday.
Tamas Sulyok sent on social networks a company message for those affected by the floods in Praid. The president of Hungary says that the natural disaster has affected not only the salt mine, an important natural and historical heritage site, but also the lives of numerous families.
“For us, the Hungarians, Praid is more than a settlement,” said the Hungarian president. “It is part of the soul of the Szekler Land; it is a place that keeps our past and our hopes and where now man is put to a nature test,” he added.
The Hungarian official said that his thoughts are with the inhabitants of Praid, expressing his sympathy for those who have suffered losses or are worried about their future.
Tamas Sulyok also said that it is important for a nation to show power, unity and solidarity in times of restraint, also mentioning that it is in constant contact with OSM, one of the first organizations that provided help.
