Israel strongly responds to the words of Emmanuel Macron. “Gross lie”

“Humanitarian blockade means that the situation in the Gaza Strip is impossible to accept,” Macron said during a visit to Singapore.
He added that if Israel “in the coming days and hours” does not take action to improve the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip, the European Union will have to “tighten its common position.”
The President of France supplemented that the EU would be forced to apply his principles and end “the processes that assumed respect for human rights – which is currently not the place – and impose sanctions.” He referred to the planned revision of the association agreement between the EU and Israel.
At the same time, Macron expressed the hope that the Israeli government would change his position and react accordingly to the humanitarian situation in the Gaza Strip.
In the last week, Israel allowed the resumption of humanitarian aid, but according to international organizations it is still insufficient, and the lock of transport lasting nearly three months deepened the humanitarian crisis in the Gaza Strip, including hunger.
Israel corresponds to Macron. “Gross lie”
The Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs replied that the claim that the blockade is still ongoing is a “glaring lie”. It was added that this week nearly 900 trucks entered the Palestinian territory. According to the UN, to meet the needs of the residents of the zone, at least 500 trucks should enter every day.
Macron also said on Friday that the creation of the Palestinian state “is not only a moral duty, but also a political necessity.” In June, France and Saudi Arabia co -organize a conference on the so -called a two -state solution, i.e. the creation of an independent Palestinian state next to Israel.
The current Israeli government rejects this solution, which, however, enjoys the support of many countries and international organizations, including EU or UN.
“Instead of putting pressure on Islamic terrorists, Macron wants to reward them with Palestinian stateness,” commented the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
In Macron's criticism of Israeli diplomacy, it was emphasized that the French leader “continues his crusade against the Jewish state.”
Circuits between France and Israel
For several weeks, the international criticism of Israel's actions has been growing, both the new offensive in the Gaza Strip and its tragic costs for the civilians, as well as the passing of insufficient help.
Macron has already said that Israeli policy towards civilians in the Gaza Strip is “shameful” and “unacceptable”. Prime Minister Binjamin Netanyahu then accused the French leader of preaching “anti -Semitic slander.”
The President of France together with the premieres of Great Britain and Canada, Keir Starmer and Mik Carney, also threatened Israel by taking “specific actions” if this state did not stop the offensive in the Gaza Strip.
