Vaslui Court convicted him, on May 28, for committing the crimes of intellectual false and use. The court decision can be appealed. The conviction does not prohibit the right to have a public office, so Vasile Cărărie can remain the deputy mayor of the commune until the mandate expires. The deputy mayor was accused by the prosecutors of drawing up a certificate on behalf of a convicted person, who was obliged to perform days for the benefit of the community at the City Hall of Muntenii de Jos, without having performed any activity, being even leaving the country.

In the complaint, it was held that the defendant Cararia Vasile, as deputy mayor and person responsible for the supervision of unpaid work within the City Hall of Muntenii de Jos, in the exercise of the duties, has falsely prepared the certificate no. 7098/15.09.2021, the form of records of hours with 8 hours of work performed each working day, documents that he sent to the case-responsible case counselor on 15.09.2021”, It is shown in the file of the Vaslui Court, according to the quoted source.

The judges also decided to cancel the certificate prepared by the deputy mayor, so that the person who benefited from that document will have to perform, finally, the work for the benefit of the community.
