In Yeniseisk, a case of the theft of 1 million rubles was opened after the improvement of the embankment

A criminal case on fraud on an especially large scale was opened in Yeniseisk in the improvement of the embankment. This was told in the SK of the Krasnoyarsk Territory.

According to investigators, in March 2024, the commercial organization and MBUK “Cultural Center” of the city of Yeniseisk signed a municipal contract for 54 million rubles in the framework of the National Project “Housing and the City Environment”. The performer had to improve the embankment within the boundaries of Babkin streets, Khudzinsky and retail space.

According to the terms of the contract, the contractor had to take out all the construction garbage to the landfill in Lesosibirsk. However, the organization decided not to do this and did not conclude an agreement with the company transporting solid household waste.

Instead, the contractor utilized the remains of the dismantled asphalt within the city, specified in the prosecutor's office of the Krasnoyarsk Territory. Later, a video appeared in local publics, which shows where the garbage actually turned out to be.

The contractor hid the fact of “savings” from the customer. The organization introduced documents to the municipal institution in which the export work was allegedly paid in full.

The amount of damage amounted to 1.1 million rubles. Law enforcement officers establish the circumstance of the incident. The investigation is under the control of the prosecutor's office.
