The prosecutors DIICOT- the central stacker, together with the judicial police officers from BCCO București carried out on Thursday, 17 house searches in Bucharest and Dâmbovița, Călărași, Olt and Ilfov counties, to the members of a group that contracted loans on behalf of poor persons using false documents.

They recruited poor people, on behalf of which they made false records
From the administered evidence it turned out that, in the municipality of Bucharest and within the county of Buzău and Dâmbovița, several perpetrators constituted an organized criminal group in order to obtain important material benefits by contracting loans, based on false documents.
“Thus, the members of the organized crime group recruited people with modest incomes, on whose behalf they prepared false documents, respectively retirement decisions, account extractions on income from salaries and pension heels, which they used to obtain loans from several financial-banking and non-banking institutions.”, The statement said.

Damage over 2,000,000 lei
The damage produced in the patrimony of the injured persons is estimated at over 2,000,000 lei.
The hearings are held at the DIICOT headquarters – central structure.
