President Nicușor Dan had a telephone conversation with his American counterpart, Donald Trump, according to political sources quoted by Digi24 and G4media on Tuesday night. The information has been confirmed for hotnews of official sources.
According to these political sources, the main topics of discussion between the two leaders were topics of common interest, such as Security in Eastern Europe, Energy and War in Ukraine.
The telephone discussion between the two leaders lasted about 10 minutes, the news station states.
Digi24 sources mention that Donald Trump was very “warm” and he invited Nicușor Dan to make an official visit to the US. For his part, the President of Romania guest the US leader to come to our country.

I am fully confident that, together, we will carry out major projects that will bring more security and prosperity,”
Also last week, 6 senators, Republicans and Democrats, from the Foreign Affairs Committee of the US Senate, sent an official statement, stating: “We congratulate the president of Nicușor Dan” and named the US alliance as a “unwavering”.
“The Euro -Atlantic community is stronger when Romania is next to them,” they said.
This was the first official message of congratulations from the US for Nicușor Dan, who came after a short message sent by the Bucharest Embassy stating that “we are waiting with interest to collaborate with Nicușor Dan, as president of Romania”.
