Survey respondents decided that – in addition to companies belonging to the family of President Donald Trump – Muska's company belongs to the most “politically dividing” public opinion.

The differences can also be seen in the surveyed assessments depending on their political preferences; Among the Muska Republicans they have nearly 30 percent. Higher quotations than among democrats.

As Axios comments, it seems that the political activity of the billionaire definitely hurt his businesses, which lost the status of “brands that inspire trust.”

“Washington Post” recently wrote that Musk even exposed to Trump's supporters, and his advisers consider the billionaire as a troublesome ballast for administration.

Since Musk became a close advisor to Trump, Tesla has become the target of attacks in Europe and the United States; Attacks on Tesla cars sometimes turned into vandalism, and the company itself announced that its income in the first quarter of this year fell by 71 percent.
