Kaczyński in a letter to PiS activists, to which PAP reached, reminded that Karol Nawrocki, a candidate supported by Law and Justice, achieved a very good result in the first round of elections. “It is an expression of support, trust and hope that Poles associate with the vision of the state close to us,” he noted.

However, he emphasized that the result of the first round of presidential elections is only the beginning. “Our victory is real, but only on our determination depends on whether it will become reality,” said Kaczyński. “Today, history gives us a chance, but it will not give us victory – we must fight for them. Remember that all the forces have been mobilized on the other side, dirty grips and illegal methods are used. This is an uneven start – but we can win them” – wrote the PiS president.

He appealed to PiS members to get involved in Nawrocki's election campaign. “Every day, every conversation, every area in the field, every phone, every activity in social media, every hour of work – everything counts now” – said PiS president. He emphasized that the candidate supported by the party would not win by waiting or the belief that “everything has already been settled”.

“That's why I appeal and please: let's mobilize all forces. Let's talk to people. Let's reach where we are not yet. Let's convince those who are still hesitating” – he noted. “And most importantly – we must remember that we are not only fighting for the presidency. We are fighting primarily for Poland. For the future we want and which we want. The values we believe in. We are fighting for Poland to be strong, proud, just and safe. That it would be a country where we want to live, work, pursue our goals, ambitions and dreams. Poland may be – and we will read.

In the opinion of the PiS president, in the last days of the campaign there is no place for boredom, complacency or a false sense of advantage. “Stand with full power to fight for the good future of Poland,” he appealed.

Kaczyński called PiS activists to show mobilization and strength during the “Great March for Poland” organized by Nawrocki, which on Sunday at noon will pass through the streets of Warsaw. “Let's show together that we are for Poland,” he emphasized.

During the Monday rally in Toruń, Nawrocki said that the march would be a “manifestation of attachment to Sovereign Poland, to safe Poland, primarily to normal Poland and to Poland prosperity.” “If you can be on May 25 in Warsaw, regardless of sympathy, political antipathy, if you love Poland, be with me on May 25 in Warsaw” – he emphasized.

On Sunday in Warsaw, there will also be a “Patriots' Great March, supporting the candidate of KO Rafał Trzaskowski. Prime Minister Donald Tusk, Rafał Trzaskowski, will take part in it, including Deputy Prime Minister, Leader of People Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz and Marshal of the Sejm, Polish leader 2050 Szymon Hołownia.

The second round of presidential elections will take place on June 1. (PAP)
