Ukraine is torn to the wall on the front. “Defense has been broken”
Russia's armed forces reached the decorating south of the Pokrowsk-Konstintynówka route a year ago. However, instead of continuing the offensive north (to surround Pokrowsk from the west or, on the contrary, reach Konstantynówka in the east), the main troops turned south. It ended The occupation of Kurachowy, Wuhłedar, the city type of Wałyk Nowosiłek and dozens of other towns.
In 2025, the Russian troops began the offensive towards the route. Additional forces were transferred to the region. The troops quickly reached the road, but then the attack stuck in a deadline.
In April, the Russians received meals. Then the attack resumed and The defense of the forces of Ukraine along the route was broken. Through the Wyrwima, the Russian army went east (towards Constantineówka) and reached Nowelelenka. They took more towns and now threaten Cutting off POODSKA from supply trails leading north, towards the main logistics base in Krama and Slavs.
North – towards Drużki and Kramatorka – another group of forces of the Russian Federation is ripped.
To the south of the road, Russian troops systematically displace Ukraine forces from distant suburbs of Donetsk. The offensive creates threat to the lap of the Ukrainian group defending the western suburbs of Torećka and immobilizing the Russian troops who want to break to Constantine from the south. In addition, the operation is to unlock the road from Donetsk, which will be able to supply a further breakthrough towards the Kramaret.
Russian drone operators are trying to isolate the battlefield, i.e. stop the communication of Ukrainian troops with the back. Even 30 km from the front are regularly attacked.
Ukrainian efforts
Ukraine forces have nothing to oppose the progress of the Russians in several directions. The troops at Pokrowskie, which in recent months have counted the Russian groups south and west of the city with various results, were now under fire. The forces of the Russian Federation are trying to break through the river valley to the border of the Dnipropetrów region, and then to the novelty. This is where the supply line for the supply of Ukrainian troops west and northwest of Kurachowy. The troops themselves are attacked from the south, where they have just lost the village, which was an important defense center. The Russians continue the attack from the south, despite the fact that some of the forces from this area were moved to the Pokrowsk-Konstintynówka road.
In this way big reserves to repel the Russian offensive can only be found in the summary regionwhere there are Ukrainian troops, which were displaced by the forces of the Russian Federation from the Kurski District in March. One of the maritime infantry brigades, which withdrew from the area west of the Sudza to the summary region, was actually moved to the Pokrowsk-Konstantynówka route. But this is definitely not enough.
After withdrawing from Sudza, where Kiev's troops suffered large losses, Ukraine forces tried to break through the territory of Russia in neighboring areas – at the border of Kurski and Belgorodzki in the east and near Tetkin in the west. However, the attacks were repelled. Local operations of Ukrainians probably have not only political goals, but also purely military goals: in this way Kiev's forces try to tie Russians in the Kursk region and prevent the transfer to the front in Donbas.
However, the forces of Ukraine themselves got stuck at the border, where they are forced to repel the Russian offensive towards the city of the sum. Russian troops have already reached the suburbs of Junakowka – the main logistics center of Ukrainians in this region.

Donbas is at stake
It is doubtful that the Russian command plans to seize the sums, which some officials from the neighboring Kurski region dream about: there is a lack of strength, and the terrain is also not favorable for the offensive – between Junakowka and the sums there is large forest area.
However, the Russian offensive has a different task: it makes it difficult to transfer Ukrainian reserves to Donbass.
Russia's forces also conduct another offensive, which aims to reach Krama and Slavic. From the north, the Russian troops attach to the city of Łyman and the Sweverian River Donećto press Ukrainian troops, which have been defending local forests for two and a half years.
The Russian troops took the majority of the village of Torśke at the northwestern end of the forests. And they will definitely try to get south. The Russians also make progress north of the city of Łyman. The goal is to get to the River Okkół, which will make the center supply.
On the opposite bank of the Moscow River, they are trying to break through to the city of Siewiersk again, through which a direct way to Slavic leads. The Russians took the village on the outskirts of Siewierska. But this was the case before – in the last three years the Russian troops have entered the village several times, but so far they have not managed to keep it.
For now, attacks in the valleys of the river are local (as opposed to a dangerous break between Pokrowskie and Constantinówka). However, in the future this direction may be strengthened so that in the second half of the year Russia forces can go to the Slavic and Kramator agglomeration from several sides at the same time.
