Krasnoyarsk doctors saved the guy’s hand, who received deep burns in a burning armored personnel carrier. This was told in the press service of the regional clinical hospital.

At the site of the damage, dense scars formed, because of which the hand stopped moving and partially lost sensitivity.

Doctors of the clinic decided to remove the cicatricial tissue and restore the skin using plastic “flap on a temporary feeding leg”. This means that the skin area is transferred to a new place, while the connection is maintained between them, which allows you to restore blood supply.

Experts explain that this is not the most common and progressive operation, but it is necessary in cases where the fabrics were too much deformed and deprived of its movement.

“We had to sew a hand in his stomach and get an excess of healthy fabrics. These fabrics should take root for four weeks, and later we will make the second stage of the operation. If everything works out, as we plan, the brush will work in the same mode, ”comments Ivan Vladimirov, surgeon-communist of the KKB burn department.

We add that this method of skin transplantation is also called “Italian plastic.”
