The leader of Gold, George Simion, announced on Thursday, in a post on his blog, that he is in Poland to participate in two international events with a conservative profile, on the day when the Constitutional Court rejected the party's appeal regarding the annulment of the presidential elections and validated the victory of Nicușor Dan.
“I participated today in ARK Strategic Pism, a first -rate event dedicated to international politics and global security.
The former president claims that he went to Warsaw “to strengthen the relationships with the sovereign and conservative parties in Poland”, in a context in which, he says, “the service detractors would have expected to stay and lament” following the decision of the Constitutional Court.
“No, the CCR decision is useful to us only to demonstrate the coup that was given on December 6. We knew what will follow! We managed to wake a lot in Europe so in the next period you will hear many initiatives we have internationally,” Simion continued.
The gold leader met with several Polish conservative officials, including the Vice -President of the Chamber of Deputies, Krzysztof Bosak, the vice -president of the Poland Parliament, Janusz Kowalski, and the leader of the Deputies of the Law and Justice Party, Mariusz Błaszczak, former Minister of Defense.

Simion also denied the information that gold had spent 1.5 million euros for political consulting in the US.

On May 13, George Simion climbed the stage of an election rally in the city of Zabrze, along with the Conservative candidate at the Polish Presidency, Karol Nawrocki.
