Byd Dolphin Surf was recently designated the “Urban car of 2025” at the New York Motor Show. Due to the compact dimensions, high quality construction and advanced technology, it will compete directly with models such as Hyundai Inter, Fiat 500E and Renault 5.

Dolphin Surf is the eighth one hundred percent electric car launched by Byd in Europe in less than three years and already arrives on the market with international recognition.

With a length of 3.8 meters, this model is designed as an urban car, dedicated to crowded traffic in the big cities in China, being perfectly adapted to the narrow streets and small parking spaces.

Three models for Dolphin Surf in Romania

• ActiveE – Combine the 30 kWh battery with a 65 kW engine, ensuring an acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h in 11.1 seconds.
• Boost – It offers the highest autonomy, uses the same 65 kW engine, but is equipped with 43.2 kWh Blade battery, reaching 0-100 km/h in 12.1 seconds.
• comfortable – keeps the battery larger and is equipped with the strongest engine in the class (115 kW / 220 nm), reducing 0-100 km / h acceleration time at just 9.1 seconds.

Byd Dolphin Surf is now available for order in many European markets, and the first deliveries are expected to reach customers starting June. The basic version of Dolphin Surf, active, starts from 11,590 euros with VAT included, through the Rabla program.

What are the features for Dolphin Surf

The car has a maximum charging speed of 85 kW – which means it can reach from 10% to 80% of the battery capacity in just 30 minutes. This recharge rate easily supports daily urban travel, but also means that the model can make longer travel when necessary.

According to manufacturers, Dolphin Surf has a smart passenger compartment, full of useful technology. The dashboard is provided with the 10.1 -inch rotary tactile screen signed byD, equipped with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.

Dolphin Surf also has a voice control by command “Hi byd”, which allows you to access many key functions without taking your hands on the steering wheel.
