“My period in Rangers has come to the end and I want to thank everyone who made it special. Staff, players and everyone behind the scenes. Thank you for the support and for the professionalism.
For fans – your passion and loyalty is incomparable. It was an honor to repeat the club and play in front of you. I wish Rangers all the best in the future.
With gratitude, Ianis Hagi ”, wrote the Romanian international, on Instagram.
Ianis reached Rangers in 2020, when he was brought from Genk in exchange for 3.5 million euros. In the season 2023-2024, he played in La Liga's loan in Alaves, where he did not confirm and returned to “ibrox”.
He missed the start of the season due to contractual problems and played the first match only in October. He has collected a total of 130 matches, 20 goals and 28 decisive passes in the Rangers shirt.
I would take Ianis immediately. But I don't know if he wants to come to us. I'll talk to Gică. I will explain to him what advantages Ianis will have at FCSB. Maybe Gică will want to take him to him, to the Lighthouse, to help him recover. I will tell him that I guarantee, by contract, that he will play in absolutely all the European matches. I guarantee! But I will not be able to guarantee that he will play in all the matches in the championship. That's not I can promise. Let's see now what Gică says, but it would be great to agree to come to FCSB. Let's see what Gică says.
