FC Rapid and the head coach Marius Şumudică decided, by mutual agreement, to terminate the contractual relations.
The same decision was also made regarding the technical staff made up of Gabriel Mărgărit, Cristian Petre, Ciprian Moscu, Sener Gencturk and Marius Şumudică JR, informs News.ro.
According to the internal procedures of the club, the coach of the youth team, Octavian Chihaia, owner of the Pro license, will take over the technical management of the team for the next official match, against the University of Cluj.
It will collaborate with the technical staff of the club, in which Roberto Berruero and Dumitru Hotoboc will keep their current functions.

Marius Şumudică was appointed coach at Rapid on August 20, 2024.

As a coach, in addition to the experience on the Bank of Rapid, from the 2010/2011 season, when he drove Giulesti in 29 stages, Marius Şumudică also trained at Astra Giurgiu, along with the champion trophy, Constanta Lighthouse, FC Brasov, FC Vaslui, Cluj University, CFR Cluj, as well as forms, as well.
