A strong fire broke out on Sunday afternoon at a tire depot in Şendreni. The dense smoke makes the action of the firefighters difficult.

The authorities issued a ro-allert alert for the Şendreni area and the entrances to the municipality of Galati, recommending the inhabitants to close the doors and windows and to avoid, as far as possible, the affected area, the cause of dense smoke.
Four extinguishing vehicles and a tanker acts on the spot, and for strengthening the intervention of ISU Galati has supplemented the device with two special vehicles and an extra tanker. Firefighters make efforts to locate and liquidate the fire, but the high dense smoke due to burnt tires creates difficulties, informs the Inspectorate for Emergency Situations (ISU) Galati.

For the safety of the citizens and to facilitate the access of the intervention crews, the authorities ask the population to respect the recommendations and to issue the access roads.
