In Kansk, two teenagers climbed onto the roof of the car and received a shock. Both died. This was reported in Krasn.
The tragedy occurred on May 16 at about 20 hours at Kansk station. Teenagers approached the wires of the railway contact network, the voltage of which is 27 thousand volts. They were shocked. Employees of the station called an ambulance, but it was not possible to save adolescents.
“We turn to adults: do not leave children unattended and do not allow them to be at the railway transport facilities! Explain that climbing the cars is deadly! The voltage in the contact network is hundreds of times higher than in a regular household outlet-it kills even at a distance of 2 meters, ”the Krasnov press service warned.
The West Siberian Transport Prosecutor's Office began a check on the fact of what happened. Law enforcement officers organized supervisory measures for compliance with safety standards during the operation of railway transport.
