The artist Tudor Chirilă sent a video message on Thursday, on his Facebook page, in which he urged the Romanians to come to the vote on Sunday, at the poll of the Presidential Finals, addressing, at the same time, a special message to the compatriots living abroad.
“I just want to say that no matter how you vote and how we vote for these people, many people, sold, sorrowful, traitors, do not forget that we have the same goal,” the Romanian singer from the diaspora told the episode of the protest in August 2018.
What Tudor Chirilă says in his message:
- “This time I address the diaspora with which I am on the same slice, only to see things a little different.
- You now give credibility to an individual to whom I do not give at all. I'm not going to jump in your head, if this country will go. It's your choice.
- What I want to say is that we were together in 2018. I know for sure that we were together in that market where we were gasped, in Victoriei Square, together with people in the Diaspora.
- And we all wanted the same thing. For that country to finish with Dragnea, to finish with the PSD, with the PNL and this transparent mafia, with the political mafia that suffocated us all.
- Duop 2018, they replaced, modified the laws of justice, modified the criminal procedure codes, used the CCR to escape corrupt, helped to prescribe the files, weakened the DNA, they did everything they could to steal further.
- What did we do, we, civil society? I made room for them. We made room, we went back. After the gases of 2018, I felt that nothing can change in this country. That's what we felt and we all went back and left a big free place.
- And this place was filled with extremism, of this idea of false sovereignism, of this idea of false perception that “what was good in Ceausescu's time, when it was good with communism.”
- I just want to say that no matter how you vote and how we vote for these people that many people make us criminals, sold, sorrowful, traitors, do not forget that we have the same goal.
- And do not forget that this vote now you might give it exactly to those you would not want to give. And you might rather than you think you don't go back. Let's come with you“.
