“Why do women go from the family very often at the age of 40? Because the children have grown up and she understands that she didn’t live their life. She thought about graduating from the institute because my mother wanted so much. She thought to get married. For 15 years you are just in prison. You should put these children on your feet, you live for everyone, but you never live for yourself,” the artist described the situation.
According to the singer, women at the age of 40 realize that they want to live for themselves.
“And they begin to live. They just looked at themselves and realized that it was time. Either now, or never,” Polyakova noted.
Context
Polyakova married Ukrainian businessman Vadim Buryakovsky on September 11, 2004. In their marriage, they had two daughters – Maria (2005) and Alice (2011). Polyakova is the second wife of Buryakovsky. He has no children from his first marriage.
The husband is 16 years older than a 46-year-old artist. Commenting on the difference in age, Polyakova said that her 62-year-old husband already wants another life, and she still needs to “rush somewhere.”
