In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, police officers detained the organizers of the electricity for mining. This was reported in the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the region.
The law enforcement officers found out that the 42-year-old food base administrator in Sosnovoborsk installed there a third-party design of the electric meter, which allows tenants without taking into account electricity. As a result, electricity in the amount of more than 9 million rubles was used for mining equipment.
In addition, law enforcement officers found that a 34-year-old resident of the Berezovsky district, being in the position of master of the section of the branch of the energy company, received a bribe in the amount of 420 thousand rubles for incomplete registration of electricity consumed at another food base.
In relation to attackers, criminal cases were instituted under Part 4 of Art. 159 of the Criminal Code and paragraph “c” of part 5 of Art. 290 of the Criminal Code. Currently, the defendants are detained, they are checked for involvement in similar crimes.
The regional investigative committee also added that searches were carried out at the place of work and residence of the suspects. Documentation, computer equipment and equipment for mining were taken. Now the issue of choosing a restraint measure is being decided.
