The Ministry of Foreign Affairs announces the Romanian citizens who are located, transit or intend to travel to Bulgaria that the unions in the field of metropolitan public transport from Sofia will carry out protest activities by completely stopping the surface public transport (buses, trolleybuses, tram) starting with May 16.

Given the trade union stresses, it is possible that the protest action will continue until Monday, May 19, 2025.
The Sofia subway will continue to operate with a normal program.
