Together with the PiS candidate for President Karol Nawrocki, we can build a protrump alliance of Maga in Europe – said George Simion, a candidate of radical right in the presidential election in Romania, in an interview with the American Conservative magazine. The second round of voting will take place on May 18, the same day as elections in Poland.

“I am proud that I can call Karol Nawrocki – a close ally and the likely successor of President Andrzej Duda – a friend. Together we could become two presidents associated with the Magic Movement (” Make America Great Again “, the main political slogan of US President Donald Trump – PAP), involved in the revival of our partnership with the United NATO's eastern flank, “said the leader of the radical right -wing Aur party, which in the second round of repeated presidential elections will face the pro -European mayor of Bucharest Nicusor Dan.

In an interview with the American magazine, Simioni said that he became a co -founder of the mega movement (Make Europe Great Again), responding to the call of Trump's adviser, billionaire Elon Musk, who in January wrote in the post on his portal X: “From magic to mega.” “We gave him (Musk – PAP) the first membership card” – revealed the leader of AUR.

As his closest partners in the EU, Simion pointed to the PiS and the Italian brothers, the premieres of Giorgia Meloni, which – like AUR – in the European Parliament belong to the group of European conservatives and reformers (EKR). Simion also imagines cooperation with patriots behind Europe (these include, among others, Hungarian Fidesz and the French National Union) and Europe of sovereign nations (including, among others, the Confederation and German AFD).

“All these three groups gain social support in 27 EU Member States. I believe that these groups and parties are our natural allies in Europe” – emphasized Simion.

“(President of France) Emmanuel Macron I (head of the European Commission) Ursula von der Leyen are afraid of us – and it should be so. They will lose power, and lose it in a democratic trial, according to the will of the people,” he added.

On Tuesday, Simion participated in the PiS rally in Zabrze, where he encouraged to vote for Nawrocki. “The future president of Romania, the future Polish president,” said Nawrocki, welcoming Simills. “Together, when George wins, together when we win we, dear states, on May 18, we will build Europe of values, Europe of homelands, in which we will not let the EU centralize and make Poland and Romania of our provinces” – said Nawrocki at the time.

In an interview, the AUR leader also referred to the famous speech of the US Vice President JD Vance at the Munich Security Conference. “It was as a balm for my soul,” Simion admitted.

Vance then assessed that Europe was moving away from the values that once connected it with the USA. He accused European politicians with a departure from freedom of speech and disregarding the will of the people. As an example, he gave Romania, where the November presidential election was annulled after winning the radical Calina Georgescu, justifying this decision with external interference, probably Russia.

The prohibition of candidacy in repeated elections was issued to Gergescu, but Simion declares that if he wins the presidential election, the politician excluded from participation in the election process will receive a nomination for an important position in the state.

“(Gergescu) was the most frequently chosen Romanian, so he has the right to cover any function – the one he chooses. But first we must restore democracy, constitutional order and law of law” – emphasizes Simion. (PAP)
