“Russia is having fun. Nawrocki and her pro-Rus Romanian counterpart George Simion, on a stage 5 days before the presidential elections in Poland and Romania, everything is clear,” wrote Donald Tusk, on Tuesday, on the X and Facebook platforms. Karol Nawrocki is in the middle of a scandal in Poland related to the properties he owns, as Hotnews relating to the last days.

George Simion described Nawrocki on Tuesday evening on his X account as “my good friend. To victory.”

Karol Nawrocki, supported by the Nationalist Party Law and Justice (PIS), is under the trial of the accusations because he did not say clearly how many apartments he owns and that he may have purchased one in exchange for the care of a handicap pensioner. The press later discovered that this person lived in an asylum for the elderly, writes the political publication.

Nawrocki is following the mayor of Warsaw, Rafał Trzaskowski in the presidential race on Sunday.

Karol Nawrocki extended his trap alone, answering, in a television debate, to the question of whether it is in favor of a tax for multiple properties. He did not answer, but he added that, like other “ordinary Poles”, he owns only “one apartment”.

One of the most important news portals in Poland, Onet, checked this statement, and discovered that he had a second apartment in Gdaitsk, the legendary city-port where the anti-communist movement and the Solidarity Union of Lech Walesa.

Nawrocki said he had possessed the apartment in exchange for the care of his older owner, Jerzy żywicki. “I was taking care of a sick old man who has been for years,” Nawrocki said, adding that the two had lost connection last year.

But Onet managed to follow żywicki in an asylum. Reporters also spoke with one of his caregivers, who said: “I remember Mr. Jerzy was sitting in his apartment in the dark in the cold, in the cold, wearing a jacket. He had no money to pay for electricity.”

His party responded in a press conference, in which a notarial act was presented indicating that Nawrocki bought the żywicki apartment in 2012 for about 30,000 euros. Only that Nawrocki himself undermined this statement himself, saying in an interview given on Tuesday that he did not pay the money in advance-as the notarial contract claimed-but paid for 14 years. And this exposed to the accusations that the notary lied – a potential crime.

In addition to Nawrocki's problems, a statement of wealth shows that he owns and half of a third apartment with his sister. Another omission to his initial public statement.
