DNA searches at Sinaia City Hall after the mayor violated the conditions of judicial control

The DNA prosecutors Bucharest descended at the headquarters of Sinaia City Hall, in the file in which Mayor Vlad Oprea is investigated for bribery, reports News.ro.
The searches were carried out in the office of the deputy mayor and his secretary, according to the quoted source. Prosecutors suspect that Vlad Oprea did not respect the conditions of judicial control that require him not to exercise his duties.
Vlad Oprea is criminally prosecuted in a corruption file in which he was accused of asking for money for drawing up a Zonal Urban Plan at the town hall. Oprea is under judicial control on bail, being accused of taking bribes, financial operations incompatible with function, abuse in service, false in wealth statements, money laundering.
It has the prohibition to leave the territory of Romania, to communicate with several persons from the town hall, and by the ordinance under judicial control on bail, it has been noted that if it will violate the prohibitions, the measure can be replaced with the preventive arrest or with the arrest at home.
