Agricultural producers of the Krasnoyarsk Territory will be shared by part of the cost of agricultural insurance

The Ministry of Agriculture of the Krasnoyarsk Territory holds a competitive selection of applications from farmers to reimburse part of the costs of supporting agricultural insurance. All agricultural enterprises and farms can apply for subsidies, with the exception of agricultural consumer credit cooperatives and personal subsidiary plots.

“An increase in the coverage of insured sowing areas and agricultural animals are our priority tasks. From the federal and regional budgets, farmers are reimbursed by 50 % of the costs of paying insurance premiums accrued under insurance contracts in animal husbandry and crop production. Interest in insurance among agricultural producers is growing annually. Thanks to the crop insurance of 15 producers, when the insurance event on the waterlogging event, recorded in the fall of 2024, received insurance payments in the amount of 65.5 million rubles, ”said the first deputy minister of agriculture of the region Larisa Beletskaya.

Livestock breeders who insured the number of large and small cattle of dairy productivity can count on an increased rate when calculating subsidies for reimbursing part of the cost of supporting milk production. Also, farmers can count on an increase in the coefficient when calculating a progective subsidy.

Last year, 29 agricultural enterprises of the region insured with state support about 2.8 million heads of cattle, pigs and birds, receiving subsidies totaling more than 19 million rubles. Insurance contracts with state support in the field of crop production concluded 127 farms. 67.7 million rubles were paid from the federal and regional budgets to support insurance in this direction. In 2024, the insured area amounted to 523.2 thousand hectares. Compared to 2023, the area of ​​insured crops increased 1.9 times.

“We have been insured for the sixth year for the sixth year – wheat, oats and peas. Last year, when a natural cataclysm occurred, which led to the cereals of grain, the insurance company, one might say, extended a helping hand. Thanks to the compensation paid to us this year, we calmly prepared for sowing work without attracting excessive credit funds. We must definitely insure, we grow cereals in the zone of risky agriculture. We have early snow, and drought. Due to the subsidy, we compensate for 50 % of insurance costs. This is significant support, ”said Tatyana Nikitina, director of the agricultural enterprise LLC Chulymskoye.

Applications for participation in the competitive selection in the Ministry of Agriculture of the region are accepted until May 16. Also, to reimburse part of the costs of supporting agricultural insurance, two more competitive selection is planned in June and autumn.
