Maximum punishment for three pimps who killed a prostitute in Oradea. The court rejected their requests for framing for milder penalties

Three alleged pimps, a man and two women, were sentenced to life imprisonment for qualified murder and attempted murder, in the case of crime spent last summer in Oradea. The sentence of the Bihor Tribunal is not final. The three are accused of seizing and subjected two sisters who were prostitute, killing one of them and seriously injuring the other, informs News.ro.
The Bihor Tribunal sentenced to life imprisonment Alin Omut (32 years), Roxana Gal (25 years) and Erika Duca (29 years) for qualified murder and 20 years in prison for attempted murder, the three to be atoned the hardest sentence.
In June last year, the police found, in a suitcase placed in a trailer parked in front of a block in Oradea, the body of a woman with deep traces of physical violence. According to investigators, Henrietta Toth (31 years old) would have been tortured for a long time and then killed.
Shortly after, she was found, in a nearby apartment, her sister, Renata Toth (28 years old), in an extremely serious condition. At that time, the chief doctor from UPU declared that the woman had many wounds all over her body, clear signs of malnutrition and a serious general condition. According to the doctor, the girl had older and more recent bruises and fractures and spoke with great difficulty.
The investigators then established that the suspects in this case would be part of a criminal group that deals with prostitution and pimping.
The alleged pimps were sent to court for qualified murder and attempted murder, but they asked to change legal classifications to milder ones, such as killing, hitting or injuring death and bodily injury, but the court rejected their requests.
Thus, according to the court portal, the Bihor Tribunal sentenced to life imprisonment the three alleged pimps to kill one of the two sisters and the serious injury of the other, to the latter the convicts to approach, for five years after the execution of the sentence (in the case of a possible condition), or less of 300 meters).
The trial in this case began in July 2024, the court also making the decision to grant moral damages of 100,000 euros for survivors and 7,000 euros for the parents of the two sisters. The court also ordered the hospital that treated Renata to receive over 27,000 lei.
However, the decision of the Bihor Tribunal is not final, and can be appealed in ten days to the Oradea Court of Appeal.
