FCSB, a new jackpot! How much money Gigi Becali receives after a new champion title + what prizes are waiting for it in Europe
FCSB is again the champion of Romania, after the University of Craiova – CFR Cluj 2-2, and Gigi Becali now makes his calculations for the amounts he is to receive. The red-blue band receives money from TV rights, but also from UEFA. Below, detailed, how much money has a champion.
For the second consecutive, the team coached by Elias Charalambus became a Superliga champion. FCSB has achieved an excellent play-off and took advantage of the wrong steps of the opponents, so he will receive a new title. Now, the red-blue band is the time of financial calculations.
How much money FCSB collects for champion title
The first money will enter the red-blue accounts from the LPF. Specifically, from TV rights. There will be 2.64 million euros, a bonus is added to the houses.
But the big pot comes from UEFA. FCSB will enter the 1st round of the UEFA Champions League preliminaries, as in the last season. And according to the course, it will be able to get an important amount.

Finally, each club arrives in Conference League. And for the elimination of the third European competition will receive:
- Tour 1: 150,000 euros
- Tour 2: 350,000 euros
- Tour 3: 550,000 euros
- Play-off: 750,000 euros
- Groups: 3.17 million euros
In the wrong case, the minimum amount guaranteed by UEFA for FCSB is 785,000 euros.
In short:
- If FCSB is eliminated from the 1st of the Champions League preliminaries will go to the 2nd round of the league preliminaries. And he will receive 175,000 euros because he has played a round in the UCL and 350.
- In addition, he will receive 260,000 euros as a bonus for champions that do not go to the groups of any competition. Add the money from tickets and TV rights.
If it will pass the first two tours in the Conference League preliminaries, FCSB has secured the place in the Conference groups.
A defeat in round 3 in the league assures the FCSB the sum of 350,000 euros. From here, Becali's team would go to the Europa League play-off. Where there are two scenarios: either qualify in the UEL groups, which means 4.31 million, or loses and reaches the Conference groups, which means 3.17 million.
