“We all know it is false. You had to accept that you had donations. He had a campaign that probably cost millions or tens of millions, if I sit down,” he said.

Asked if Călin Georgescu lied, the eyebrow said: “I can't say he lied.”

“I do not want to pronounce myself. I know there are investigations. Decide the Romanian state after their investigation. I think it was a mistake and this was not to happen.

Calin Georgescu is under judicial control and is investigated for six crimes:

• instigation of actions against the constitutional order, in tempted form;
• Communication of false information;
• false in statements in continuous form;
• the initiation or establishment of an organization of a fascist, racist or xenophobic character, adherence or support, in any form, of such a group;
• the promotion, in the public, of the cult of persons guilty of committing genocide offenses against humanity and war crimes, as well as the act of promoting, in public, ideas, fascist, legionary, racist or xenophobic doctrines;
• the initiation or establishment of an anti -Semitic organization, the accession or support, in any form, of such an organization.

Sprîncean says he had an employee in Georgescu's team

Dragoș Sprîncean was also asked if he believes that Georgescu would have been a legitimate president, given the campaign carried out on social networks.

“It was exaggerated and there very, very much. Mistakes were made on both sides. Certain parties paid and campaign to other parties. Mr. Georgescu used certain teams. And maybe the world will say: Do you know, how do you know?

He claims that from his point of view the campaign made by Călin Georgescu was not an illegal one, but another aspect must be taken into account, he says.

“But it depends on whether there are foreign actors who have been involved. This is the whole thing (…).

“He also has negative things. He said he did not agree with the extension of NATO bases. I told him he should change his opinion. At first he wanted, then he changed it,” said Călin Georgescu Dragoș Sprînceană.

Dragoș Sprînceană (45 years old) is a businessman of Romanian origin established in the US, a member of the Republican Party of which the US President Donald Trump also belongs.
