The first meeting of the interim government led by Cătălin Predoiu (PNL), which started on Thursday at 10:00, brought changes in access to the press to the Government meetings. The government spokesman Mihai Constantin announced that journalists and photoreporters will no longer have access to the informal meeting with the prime minister and the ministers prior to the Government meeting and will not be sent to the Prime Minister's speech at the beginning of the meeting.

The beginning of the Government meeting will no longer be transmitted live on the Government communication channels (Facebook and YouTube), but will be registered and broadcast later with a press release with the decisions taken.

Following the dissatisfaction manifested by journalists, they received access on Thursday in a previously forbidden area-the official entry of ministers, where journalists were able to make video statements from ministers.

More explanations related to these changes will be made by Mihai Constantin in the press briefing that will take place after the Government meeting that started at 10:00.

The PSD-PNL-UDMR-minorities governance coalition broke on Monday, less than five months after it was created, as a result of the social-democrats' decision to break the agreement after the joint 2 of the common candidate, Crin Antonescu. As a result, Marcel Ciolacu has submitted his resignation from the position of prime minister. The PSD ministers will remain as interim in the government for now. The interim period can take at most 45 days, during which a new government must be formed.
