May: 20 possible electoral incidents including a voter corruption case

The structures of the Ministry of Internal Affairs were notified on Saturday about 20 possible electoral incidents in relation to the presidential elections, including 14 reports to continue the electoral propaganda and a case of corruption in Iasi county, where several people from a town hall would have promised the voters to vote, a certain, Dajbog, quoted by Agerpres.
Regarding the partial local elections, during the same day four situations of continuation of the electoral propaganda were reported after the campaign ended, Dajbog said.
At the same time, she added that the General Inspectorate of the Romanian Police is carrying out investigations after being notified by the Central Electoral Bureau regarding situations in which citizens who voted in abroad sections would have posted in the online environment images with the ballots.
“The photography or filming by any means of the ballot is forbidden,” the chief commissioner stressed.
The spokesman also pointed out that on Saturday the General Directorate for the Evidence of Persons and Public Community Services of Persons had a program to support citizens who did not have valid identity documents and wanted to vote on Sunday.
Thus, the day before the presidential elections came in possession of an identity document with which almost 11,000 people can vote.
The General Directorate for the Evidence of Persons has recommended the local community public services for the records of persons as on Sunday, on the day of the vote, to provide a work schedule with the public between 7:00 and 21:00.
