About 160 supporters were arrested on Saturday, May 3, at Split, after a major scope between the ultra -rivals, Hajduk Split and Dinamo Zagreb. The match was won by guests with a score of 3-1, and they became leaders in Croatia.

Most of the supporters were arrested during the confrontations before the match in a Split neighborhood between the two teams, “Bad Blue Boys” from Dinamo Zagreb and “Torcida” from Hajduk Split, says News.ro.

After the match, about 20 supporters were arrested after attacked several policemen near the stadium.

Hajduk Split, the band coached by the legendary Gennaro Gattuso lost the derby hosted with Dinamo Zagreb without appeal.

Ronael Pierre-Gabriel opened the scoring for guests in the 51st minute, but Marko Livaja restored equality 4 minutes later.

Sandro Kulenovic brought Dinamo Zagreb back in the 64th minute, and Petar Susic set the final score in the 90+12 minute.

Dinamo Zagreb thus became a leader in Croatia, with 58 points. Hajduk Split is in the third place, with 56 points, equal to the 2nd place, Rijeka, who has a less disputed match than the other 2 candidates.

Dinamo Zagreb also has to play with Slaven Belupo, Lokomotiva Zagreb and Varzadin, while Hajduk Split will play matches with Gorica, Rijeka and Sibenik.

In addition to traveling from Split from the penultimate stage, Rijeka also has to play with Gorica, Sibenik and Slaven Belupo. The first place in Croatia will play in the preliminaries for the Champions League, while places 2 and 3 will fight to reach the Group of Conference League.
