He lives in Crimea. He reveals what tourists from Russia are doing. “They have everything somewhere”

A resident of Sevastopol Angelina claims that it is calm compared to last year in the city. In the evening you can hear explosions – the channel of local authorities on the telegram every day explains this “exercises using various types of weapons”. A woman doubts that these are just exercises.
– The explosions are small, but that's the norm – says Angelina. – Nobody reacts to it. They quite often announce a threat to drones, but there has been no air alarm for a long time. People got used to and are not afraid of loud sounds. There was no such nonsense as in March last year, thank God. Tourists also come.
Angelina's friend works in a hotel in the east of the peninsula. He says that all rooms are reserved for May Christmas. For now, however, it is not known who will come: locals or tourists. By the end of April, there is enough guests from the “continent” in the hotel.
Angelina thinks that The summer season in Crimea will be good. – There is a problem with Mazut [wyciek mazutu z rosyjskich tankowców w Cieśninie Kerczeńskiej spowodował katastrofę ekologiczną]. People don't want to bathe there, it's obvious. But the fact that we have all the beaches with us 100 percent. Cleaned of mazut, it is doubtful, although they say that everything is fine. People still find leaks sometimes.
The main promenade of the city has not yet been properly renovated.
“Tourists from Russia are not frightening”
The increase in prices in Crimea is noticeable. In June, for a room in a three -star hotel at the first shoreline in Yalta, you have to pay about 10,000 rubles (at the current exchange rate PLN 456) per night, and for one -room apartments and studies on the portal at least 3.5 thousand. rubles (PLN 159). In eupatoria, prices are lower. Apartments cost about 4,000 rubles (PLN 182), apartments on the local portal 2.5 thousand (PLN 114), and a three -star room on the first shoreline costs on average 8 thousand. (PLN 365). Prices are similar in Aluszcza.
Angelina believes that the prices of apartments and all services, including tourist services, will increase. – Last year I rented a house for my birthday. Now renting a house for the same dates costs about 2-3 thousand. (PLN 91-137) more-he says.
– I think the season will be quite good. In my opinion, tourists from Russia are not scared. It's probably about mentality. If someone wants to go on vacation, they have everything somewhere – explains Angelina.
Jekatryna works in a shop on the waterfront in Sudak, a city in the south-eastern part of Crimea. The previous tourist season was surprisingly active for her: the woman worked every day from eight in the morning to ten in the evening without a break – the influx of tourists was so large. This year, jekatryna He expects even more vacationers.
– This year, taking into account the closing of the beaches in Anapa, we expect even more people. The rent increases, new premises open everywhere, some people combine, come up with various things. Literally everyone around me already think how to earn more money this summer – he says. Ekateryna's friends decided to renovate their apartments to hire them to tourists. – Even if they end up in July, August, and so [zarobią] – explains the woman.

Jekatryna also mentions Mazuta. He says he can be a problem. – Something swims in Sudak. Until it got completely warm and everything did not flow out, no conclusions can be drawn. But people are actively preparing for the season – he adds.
Walentyna, a member of the Small Hotels Association of Crimea, confirms that a large number of tourists may appear in the upcoming season. The hotel is believed that due to the leakage of Mazutu in the Krasnodar country, tourists will not go there. Like other interlocutors, he admits that The peninsula also affected the problem, but it is silent.
On April 28, security forces in Aluszcza detained a blogger from the Krasnodar country Yuri Ozarowski: the services prepared a report on the abuse of media freedom and imposed a fine of 15,000. rubles (PLN 685). On his telegram channel, the man showed rocks contaminated with mazut on the beach in Aluszcza. Later, according to the blogger, local officials forced him to delete the entry.
According to Walentyna vacationers are no longer afraid of drones or a military threat. In the years 2022–23 they were still afraid, but now not. “Everyone understands that anti -aircraft defense, however, works,” explains the woman. – Accidents, when drones fell on people, were single in my opinion.
Both Walentyna and her colleagues from the industry have good results, and on the west coast of Crimea, where Mazut practically did not arrive, they are even better. – Surprisingly that they are no longer afraid of drones, the pure sea has become a priority – says Walentyna. Although it is on the west coast of the peninsula that most military bases are located.
The authorities of the peninsula, according to the hotel, do everything so that tourists can conveniently reach Crimea, including through the northern border. – There is a land route through the northern part. A new federal road has been opened, thanks to which you can get from Krasnodar to the Crimean Bridge in two hours. Earlier it took at least five or seven hours, because it was necessary to go through all cities, where the speed limit was 40 km per hour, which was impossible-explains Walentyna.
