Heart and gastrointestinal diseases are most often detected on medical examinations in Krasnoyarsk residents

Diseases of the cardiovascular system revealed in 5,620 residents of the Krasnoyarsk Territory in a medical examination for the first quarter of 2025. Experts found these diseases most often, the Ministry of Health of the region reported.
In second place were diseases of the gastrointestinal tract-1,652 cases. The third most prevalence was diabetes. It was found in 833 inhabitants of the region.
Also, doctors often diagnosed diseases of the respiratory system and malignant neoplasms – 551 and 274 cases, respectively.
In total, from January to March 2025, more than 400 thousand people passed the medical examination and examinations. The Ministry of Health noted that this is about 18.5 % of the adult population of the region.
You can undergo a medical examination from the age of 18. From 18 to 39 years old it is laid every three years, and from 40 years – every year.
In 2025, those who were born in 1985 and earlier can take a medical examination. In addition, those born in 1986, 1989, 1992, 1995, 1998, 2001, 2004 and 2007 are expected to check.
