Let us accelerate settlements, let them not escape them all to Belarus – appealed to the presidential candidate Rafał Trzaskowski at the election rally in Toruń. He added that settlements are necessary due to the destruction of the state and public service in recent years.

Trzaskowski during Tuesday's speech in Toruń argued that it was necessary to accelerate settlements. “I know that you do not want to listen to my competitors anymore. I am also fed up with listening to them. Let's accelerate settlements. Let's not let them all run to Belarus. You know why you need to accelerate settlements? First of all because they destroyed the state. Enough to destroy the state and public service, splash of white and red,” said Trzaskowski.

He emphasized that the second reason for accelerating the settlements should be the desire to “close this chapter”.

“So that we could do something else. So that we no longer have to watch Jarosław Kaczyński, who on the one side bet on President Andrzej Duda, and on the other, Karol Nawrocki. It was a huge disappointment, because in recent weeks and months there was the differences between the president and Mr. Nawrocki and Mr. appear at a party party and drop the appearance of independence, he did it ” – added Trzaskowski.

On Sunday, the president, as a special guest, took part in the convention supported by PiS for presidential candidate Nawrocki. During his speech, Duda mobilized PiS activists and Nawrocki supporters and encouraged to support the financial campaign. He also declared that he would vote for Nawrocki in the May election.

The candidate of KO performed in Toruń with a white and red flag, which Karol Nawrocki left in Końskie after the first presidential debate.

“When all the lights went out, when the debate ended, he just abandoned it. He left it on his rostrum. The president of the Institute of National Remembrance says a lot about his attachment to tradition. (…) You need to know one and it is common knowledge that the white and red never leaves. Everyone who knows the history of our army, who was in scouting knows that the flag is the symbol that we all love. It will accompany me at least until May 2, when it is Flag Day, “emphasized Trzaskowski.

He convinced several times that “we will all fit under white and red.”

Trzaskowski also said that politics is about how to refer to the needs of his countrymen. “This was taught by the local government. If it is responsible for the budget, in which there is almost PLN 30 billion, like me in Warsaw, if he is responsible for great investments, then it is clear that the subway and tram must reach all citizens. Regardless of their political views. (…) Free nursery I introduced must be a standard for all mothers and children” – he argued.

He added that Poland needs an independent president who will solve the problems of all compatriots. Trzaskowski emphasized that many politicians like prestige very much, they like to review, but do not want to take any responsibility.

In his opinion, the trick is to take responsibility for making hundreds of decisions.

“I have always been with you. When there was a pandemic – I managed hospitals. When it was necessary to defend women's rights, teachers and teachers, minorities, I was with you. I stood in the first row, on every barricade. I have never put down and set aside my leg. In politics, courage and credibility are the most important thing” – summed up Trzaskowski.
