In Krasnoyarsk, a contractor was determined to design the reconstruction of Sverdlovskaya Street and a pedestrian crossing through it in the area of Flora and Fauna Park “Roev stream“.
The capital construction department has already concluded two municipal contracts. Both projects will be developed by the Krasnoyarsk company JSC Civilplant.
“By the 400th anniversary of Krasnoyarsk, we plan to expand one of the most loaded trips from the city and improve the pedestrian availability of the Fauna Park and the Fauna“ Roev Brook ”. The road will expand to four, in places of six lanes. Some pedestrian crossings and traffic lights will be excluded from the movement scheme. This is especially true for the site in the area of the zoo, where we planned the construction of an above -ground pedestrian crossing, ”said Sergey Shikunov, head of the city planning department.

The length of the site is almost 4 kilometers. They plan to convert the street from the “Foresting base” stop before the start of the R-257 highway. The contractor will have to provide storm, sidewalks, stops with access pockets, as well as the reconstruction of the bridge over the Bazaikha. All pedestrian crossings should become adjustable, and along the roadway to consider creating a path for cyclists.
Now Sverdlovskaya Street has two strips one way on the site from the “forested base” to the intersection of Sverdlovskaya with the Collective farm Street. Further before the start of the R-257 highway, it has one lane in each direction.
For an above -ground pedestrian crossing, specialists will have to develop three options for external appearance, taking into account the use of different materials in the design, take into account climatic conditions, provide architectural illumination and make descents for low -mobility citizens. The total amount of contracts is almost 78 million rubles.
The deadline for the development of design documentation is April 2026.
