The pensioners who worked in the work groups can benefit from an increase in the pension score following the recalculation that will be completed soon and which takes into account the periods worked under special or special conditions.

According to the new pension law, entered into force in September last year, the increase of scores for the periods worked in work groups, special conditions or special conditions:
▪ by 25%, for the periods in which they carried out activities in the second group of work or in places classified under special conditions;
▪ with 50%, for the periods in which they carried out activities included in the I work or in places classified under special conditions;
▪ with 50%, for the periods in which they carried out activities included in other working conditions.
Concrete example:
Let's take the case of a person who worked 10 years in the second group of work, writes Click. In this case, the increase is 25%. Each year worked in group II adds 0.25 average annual points. Thus, for 10 years worked in Group II, this person will receive:
0.25 points x 10 years = 2.5 average annual points.
These points multiply with the value of the reference point (81 lei): 2.5 points x 81 lei = 202.5 lei in addition to the pension.
In contrast, for someone who worked 10 years in the I work, the increase is 50%. Each year you work in group I add 0.5 average annual points. Thus, for these 10 years, it will be added:
0.5 points x 10 years = 5 average annual points.
These points also multiply with the value of the reference point: 5 points x 81 lei = 405 lei in addition to the pension.
The calculation of the pension for those who worked in work groups or under special conditions depends on the actual worked period and the type of work group in which they were classified. The increases can vary, but in general, the additional pension amounts are not as large as the pensioners would have been, especially because of the new calculation formula. For example, 10 years worked in Group II can add about 200 lei to the pension, and in group I, about 400 lei.
