ArcelorMital threatened Ukrzaliznytsia by a claim due to a change in freight tariff

Changing freight tariffs, Ukrzaliznytsia abuses a monopoly position, and its decisions are artificial and groundless. This was stated by ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih (AMCR), which is the largest foreign investor in Ukraine.
They also stated that they were ready to contact the Antimonopoly Committee to understand the situation.
The reason is that the UZ formed new trains for the plant to the Odessa port. And now they will have to go 257 km more – which, accordingly, will cost much more. Moreover, these changes – artificial and unfounded, say in AMC.
“We consider any manifestations of abuse of a monopoly position and are ready to contact the Antimonopoly Committee of Ukraine on this occasion,” – said Alexander Bilyansky, Deputy CEO for the supply of Arcelormittal Kryvyi Rih.
