The Minister of Labor, Simona Bucura-Orescu, said that an injustice was done on Monday, when the motion against him was voted and passed by the Senate. She was surprised coming out of the plenary room with tears in her eyes.

“It is pure parliamentary mathematics. I am here, I thank all the colleagues who voted against the motion, I thank the others who show us that in Romania democracy is strong. I will continue to do my job so far. “said the Minister of Labor, after the vote in the Senate plenary.
The motion against the minister passed with 61 votes for and 59 against.

Simona Bucura-Orescu stated, asked if he took into account a resignation, that “In political functions it is about work and responsibility ”.

According to the regulation of the two Houses of Parliament, the adoption of the simple motion does not have the effect of dismissing the minister in question.
However, according to gold, by adopting the censorship motion against the Minister of Labor, Simona Bucura-Orescu, the Romanians received a clear signal: “Ciolacu's castle collapses! We ask Prime Minister Marcel Ciolacu to take note of the Senate vote and to dismiss the minister.”
